Kenny Hinson

Kenny Mack Hinson, 65 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at his residence in Concord.

Kenny was born August 25, 1948 in North Carolina to the late Mack Pemberton Hinson and Rosa-Lee Hinson. He was also preceded in death by brother, Terry Wayne Hinson.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Friday, July 25, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Friday at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Ed Armfield. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Concord.

Survivors include daughters, Kim Jacobs of Concord and Kelly Hinson of Lexington; brothers, David Hinson of Concord, Tommy Hinson of Concord; stepdaughter, Laurie Wheat of Lexington; grandson, Justin Hinson and granddaughters, Jessica Hinson, Paris Wheat and Brooklyn Wheat.

Kenny worked as a plumber with PPG. He obtained his pilots license and enjoyed flying. He adored his grandchildren and family very much. Kenny was a longtime member of Cotton Grove United Methodist Church in Lexington.
