Kent Cranford

Gregory "Kent" Cranford, 55, of Concord passed away on Friday, July 01, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. He was born on May 23, 1956 in Cabarrus County to Mary Luetta Cook Lemmond and the late Carl Edward Cranford. He was a self-employed painter and a veteran of The United States Marine Corp. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Pitts Baptist Church on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 11 AM, with Rev. Scott Davis officiating. Burial will be at Salisbury National Cemetery on Thursday at 2 PM, with Military honors performed at graveside. He is survived by his mother, Mary Lemmond of Concord; sons, Clayton Cranford of Arizona and Gregory Kent Cranford, Jr. of Ohio; brothers, Jerry F. Cranford of Concord and Randy C.
