Kevin Vaughn Garmon

Kevin Vaughn Garmon, age 67, passed away November 13, 2024 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis from complications of early on-set Alzheimer’s.

Kevin was born August 2, 1957 to the late Brice Garmon and Frances Austin Garmon of Concord, NC. He was preceded in death by his sister, Denyse Garmon Stowe and brother, Roger Garmon.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Amy Garmon, and son, Cal Garmon.

Kevin was a graduate of Central Cabarrus Highschool. He retired from the US Postal Service after 37 years of employment.

Kevin was an avid sports fan with loyalties to the Braves, Panthers, and Tarheels. He was known to have a soft spot for the elderly and is described by many as one of the kindest people they’ve ever known. Kevin greeted all with a big smile and entertained friends and family with his stories and “Kevin-isms”. Kevin will be missed by many.

A graveside service will be held at Center United Methodist Church, 1119 Union St S, Concord, NC 28025 on Saturday November 16th at 1:00 pm
