Kyle Allen

Kyle Bennett Allen “Wild Bill”, 17, of Sunset Lake Road, Stanfield, passed away April 18, 2010, at Stanly Regional Medical Center, Albemarle, NC, after an accident. He was born October 25, 1992, in Mecklenburg County and was a junior at West Stanly High School. Kyle loved his ’41 Harley and enjoyed riding pit bikes with his friends. He was a member of AMCA Blueridge Chapter motorcycle club, and worked with his dad in Allendale Furniture and Allen Storage Centers. He loved his parents and his brother, who was his best friend. He was an organ donor. A memorial service will be Wednesday, 4:00 p.m., Carolina Presbyterian Church, Locust, officiated by Rev. Patrick Womack. The visitation will follow in the church fellowship hall. At other times, the family will meet at his home. Survivors include his parents, Rick and Janet Allen of Stanfield; brother, Ramsey Allen of Stanfield; maternal grandparents, Lib Barrier and friend, Red Picklesimer of Locust; and paternal grandparents, Paul and Gwen Allen of Stanfield. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Joseph Barrier.
