Lanier Athletus Warwick

Lanier Athletus Warwick (Rusty), 69, of Concord, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital.

Mr.Warwick was born February 20, 1956 to the late Joseph Lanier Warwick and Shelby Maurney Warwick.

Survivors include wife of 35 years, Lisa Warwick; sisters, Donna Morgan, Debbie Shue; brother-in-laws, Jr. Morgan, Doug Shue; great-nephew, Chris Shue, Austin Green; step-daughters, Susan Philbeck, Sandra Cooper; and step-grandkids, Dylan Cooper, Ali Philbeck, and Olivia Philbeck.

Rusty was a good friend to many and helped everyone in need. He was employed at Riverbend and Barbara Landscaping, Kastle Cabinet, Cratman Fabrics, and Cabarrus Hosiery. He also helped to mow Whitehurst Country Park. Rusty really enjoyed his TV shows such as; Gold Rush, any Nascar race, and Western shows. Rusty also loved to read.
