Larry Cauble, 72, peacefully passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 surrounded by his family. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Thursday, July 5, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Britt, will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 6, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina on September 23, 1939, he was the son of Charles Turner Cauble and Nettie Lela Horne Cauble. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and served in the Unites States Army. He and wife Marion Cauble raised their two sons Joseph and Chad, and he enjoyed attending their wrestling matches and tournaments. Mr. Cauble was a successful business man and served as President of Cauble Auto Sales of Concord. His passion was spending time with his grandsons and watching them participate in wrestling, basketball and football. Mr. Cauble loved going with the family to Cherry Grove Beach and going to flea markets. He was preceeded in death by his parents Charles Turner Cauble and Nettie Lela Horne Cauble; brothers James Turner Cauble, Charles Ray Cauble and Jessie Cauble; sisters Annie Blackwelder Jones and Betty May McDonald. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marion Cauble; two sons Joseph Wayne Turner Cauble and wife Sandy of Kannapolis; Chad Wayne Cauble and wife Lee of Mooreville; three grandchildren, Kyle Turner Cauble, Matthew Zane Cauble and Davis Khiasper Cauble; nephews Eric McDonald of Williamsburg, VA, and Lyle Ray Cauble of Concord and wife Crystal; niece Teresa McDonald Fremaux and husband Mike of Newport News, VA; sister-in-law Nancy Kamm; and many grand nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice House of Cabarrus County or Rocky River Community Church in Concord. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Cauble family.
