Larry Connell

Larry Wilson Connell, 73 years of age, of Concord, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Universal Healthcare in Concord. Larry was born May 29, 1940 in North Carolina to the late James Hurley Connell Sr. and the late Elma Lucille Connell. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral service will be on Friday at 1:00 pm at South Side Baptist Church in Concord with a 30 minute state officiated by Rev. Joey Morrison. The burial will follow at the Cabarrus Memorial Gardens at 3892 Hwy 73 , Concord. Survivors include wife, Doris Ann Connell of Concord, NC; daughter, Paula Ann (Jody) Godfrey of Hamptonville, NC; son, Timothy Allen Connell of Concord, NC; brother, James "Jim" Hurley Connell II of Statesville, NC; grandchildren Sonni Jo Hartley, Jamie Nicole Linger, Joseph Godfrey, Sarah Godfrey, Terry Allen Connell, and John Paul Lockhart; great-grandchildren Kailyn Jo and Allyssa Hartley.
