Larry Eugene Little

Larry Eugene Little, 79, of Concord died Monday, April 19, 2021, at his residence. The family will receive friends for viewing Friday, April 23, 2021, at Bethel Church of Midland beginning at 11 am. A graveside service at the church cemetery will follow at 12 noon. Rev. Jeremy Brackett will officiate.

Mr. Little was born in Cabarrus County March 24, 1942, and was the son of Hal Eugene Little and Hazel Black Little. He graduated from Bethel High School in 1960 and attended Charlotte College which later became UNCC. He worked at The Henry Walke Company in Charlotte for 20 years. For the last 30 years he owned his own auto body repair business, Little's Body Shop, in Midland, NC.

He has been a lifelong member of Bethel United Church and served tirelessly on many committees over the years. His most notable was the Chairman of the 1986 Building Committee which constructed the new educational building. He also served as a fire fighter for many years with the Flowes Store Fire Department and was a former member of the Concord Jaycees.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Bryans Little; one daughter, Kimberly Little Gandy Swain (Eric) of Oakboro; one son, Scott Eugene Little (Cinnamon) of Concord; grandchildren. Hannah Nicole Little, Kelsey Elizabeth Little, and Savana Victoria Gandy; sisters Judy Little York (Gene) and Becky Little Barbee (Mike).

The family wishes to express sincere appreciation for the support and excellent care provided during his illness to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County and to Dr. Charles Rhodes of Mt. Pleasant Family Medicine.
