Larry Gudger

Larry Elbert Gudger, 75 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.
Mr. Gudger was born February 7, 1941 in Albemarle to the late Ervin and Dealie Gudger.
He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Underwood and husband Chuck of Norwood as well as former wife Margaret Gudger of Norwood. Mr. Gudger was also survived by Reggie Dennis and wife Mena of Albemarle, and Chris Dennis and wife Shelbra of Polkton, NC. and sister, Odessa Springer of Albemarle. Larry was preceded in death by Gary Dennis and 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
The family would like to express appreciation to close friends, John Edwards and Bill Scell and his family, as well as Hospice of Stanly County and the Uhwarrie and Stanly Manor for their devoted care.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm, Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 pm at Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle officiated by Rev. Adam Hatley
