Larry Hopkins

Larry Elijah Hopkins, age 78 of Mt. Gilead, NC passed away on January 29, 2011 at his home in Mt. Gilead. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 1 at Grace Baptist Church from 12:30-1:30. The service will follow at the church at 2 PM. He was born in Stanly County on December 19, 1932 to the late Grady Clarence and Ruth Josey Hopkins. Mr. Larry Elijah Hopkins is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Florence Hopkins of the home; daughters, Tracy Hopkins of Greensboro, Kathryn H. Miller and husband Cliff of Greensboro, Jackie H. Mabry and husband Mark of Albemarle; a brother, Frank Hopkins and wife Nelle of Albemarle; grandchildren, Lindsey Mabry Herrin and husband Jake, Russell Chase Mabry and wife Makayla; great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Anna Herrin.
