Larry Little

Larry Gene Little, age 71 of 318 N. Haywood Street, Oakboro, passed away on October 02, 2010 at CMC Main Charlotte in Charlotte. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Tuesday from 6 to 8. At other times the family will be at his home.The funeral will be at Indian Hill Presbyterian Church on Wednesday at 4 PM with a 30 minute state. Rev. Mark Little and Rev. Gerald Baucom will officiate and burial will follow at Indian Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by Stanly County DAV, Chapter 12. Born in Stanly County on November 29, 1938, he is the son of the late Ephraim C. Little and the late Vergie Austin Little. He was owner/operator of Little’s Produce and retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rita Faye Mullis Little of the home; daughter, Tonya Helms and fiance’ Tommy Campbell of Oakboro; brother, Gerald Little of Oakboro; sister, Jo Tucker and husband Harvey of Wadesboro and Annette Helms and husband WC of New Bern; and grandchildren, Dustin, Timothy and Camryn Helms.
