Larry Simpson Love

Larry Simpson Love, 80, of Harrisburg, went to his heavenly eternal home on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 after years of declining health.

Larry was born December 3, 1942, to the late Ernest Houston Love and the late Margaret Talbert Love. 
He was also preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Nancy Weatherly Love, and his sister, Shirley Love Taylor.  

Larry was a devoted husband who missed his wife dearly.  He was the best father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He loved to watch Nascar racing and Carolina Tarheel basketball. 

Survivors include his daughters, Angela Love Nixon (Darren), and Regina Love Osborne (David). Five grandchildren, David Tandarich, Heather Osborne (Wesley), Jordan Nixon, Peyton Nixon and Ozzy Osborne and great grandson, Graceson Tandarich-Osborne, and great granddaughter, Zoey Tandarich.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 11:45 am on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Pastor David Henderson. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park in Concord.
