Larry Lunsford

Larry Wayne Lunsford, age 57, of Albemarle, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. The memorial service, officiated by Rev. Ray Johnson, will be held at Congregation Christian Church on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Family will receive friends following the service at the church. At other times, the family will meet at the brother, Toby Lunsford’s home. Mr. Lunsford was born on October 16, 1955, to the late Samuel Lunsford, Jr. and Catherine Lunsford Washer of Albemarle. Larry is survived by a daughter, Terra Wagner of Albemarle; two brothers, Toby Lunsford of Albemarle and Thomas Lunsford and wife Terri of Dallas, GA; three grandchildren, CJ, Chase and Caitlin Bergevin of Albemarle; two nephews, Tyler and Ian Lunsford. Larry was an avid hunter who continued to enjoy the outdoors during his years of declining health. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Larry’s many friends, and especially Jeff McSwain, for their loving care during his final months.
