Larry Taylor

Larry Glenn Taylor, 77, of Oakboro, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle.

Larry was born November 25, 1943 in North Carolina to the late Glenn Coolidge Taylor and the late Mae Belle Crisco Taylor.
He was also preceded in death by wife, Sheila Efird Taylor, and son, Larry Russell Taylor.

Survivors include daughter, Kelly Cornett, and husband Lewis Cornett, Jr. of Stanfield, NC, and granddaughters, Keisha Cornett Locy, Aleah Cornett, Jennah Fredrick, and husband Robert Fredrick, and great-grandchildren, Evan Locy, James Fredrick, Damien Fredrick, and Raisa Fredrick.

Larry enjoyed watching Westerns, especially Gunsmoke. He loved "Little Debbie" cakes so much they called "Little Debbie" his favorite daughter. One of Larry's greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
