Larry "Wedge" Palmer, Jr.

Larry Webster Palmer, Jr., also known as "Wedge" died Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Atrium NorthEast following several weeks of illness.

Mr. Palmer was born on October 12, 1965 in Germany, to the late Larry Webster Palmer, Sr. and the late Mareile Lieselotte Ibelshauser.

Larry was an experienced auto technician and mechanic, doing business under the name, Wedge Automotive. Throughout his life he enjoyed all motor sports, especially drag racing.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021, at 2:00 pm, at Fairview Memorial Park, 1425 East Main Street, Albemarle.

Surviving family members include his daughter, Meagan Huneycutt of Badin; sister, Tracey Lynn Palmer of Texas; brother, Steven Palmer of Albemarle and grandson, Theodore Alexander Mills.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Palmer family.
