Laura Christine Duncan, 97 years of age, of Monroe, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System Union in Monroe.
Laura was born September 8, 1919 in Union County to the late William Thomas Duncan and the late Cora Helms Duncan. She was also preceded in death by seven siblings Martha Duncan, Pauline Tucker, Otto Duncan, Bernard Duncan, Coy Duncan, Sam Duncan and W.T. Duncan.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 420 Hopewell Church Road., Monroe.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
