Lauren Burden
March 19, 1992 — April 3, 2017
Lauren Elizabeth Burden, 25 years of age, of Norwood, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.
Ms. Burden was born March 19, 1992 to Roland Burden Jr. and Shannon Brooks Kvist. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Roland and Martha Burden and maternal grandfather, Donnie Brooks. Lauren was a hard-working single mother that cared and provided for her children in every way possible. She was a daughter and student but most of all a mother, that will be deeply missed by her children and all that knew her.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Prospect Baptist Church, 502 Prospect Church Rd. Albemarle, NC 28001. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm officiated by Pastor Stoney Benfield and Rev. Tony Thomas.
Survivors include: daughters, Kenley Hash, Julia Hash; son, Harrison Hash; mother, Shannon Brooks Kvist and husband Benji; father, Roland Burden, Jr and wife Jennifer; maternal grandmother, Joanne Brooks; godmother, Kelly Nash; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and the entire Hash family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made at Well Fargo, 200 East Main Street, Albemarle, NC 28001 to Shannon Kvist for a trust for the children of Lauren Burden.
