Laurence Hayden Lyall, 68, passed away in his home on August 23rd, 2011. Larry was a poet, musician and occasional professor of literature and humanities. He was the author of a number of books ranging from poetry to politics, and his life adventures with his family in Mexico.His family and his love of the arts were his passion. Larry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandy Lyall, four daughters, 9 grandchildren, 5 siblings, and many other relatives and friends. With his love for life, his lifelong pursuit of literature and ideas, and his witty sense of humor he brought laughter to everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Presbyterian Church in Concord,NC.
