Lee Love

Lee Roy Love, 91 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at his home.

Lee was born July 7, 1926 in Stanly County, North Carolina to the late Dewey Martin Love and Addie Blanche Kizer Love.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Ada Baucom Love, infant daughter Judy Ann Love, four brothers and one sister.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Midland officiated by Rev. Dr. Darrell Nance. Burial will follow at the Kinza Memorial Church Cemetery at 4311 Love Mill Road, Stanfield.

Survivors include son, Ronnie Love and wife Lucy of Stanfield, daughter, Carolyn Crayton of Stanfield, daughter, Brenda Armstrong and husband David of Concord; seven grandchildren, Crystal Wages, Leesa Fulller, Becky Lowder, Amanda Page, Marie Walser, Teresa Armstrong and David Armstrong; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters Betty Reeder of High Rock and Louise Baxley of Florida.

Lee worked in textiles for a number of years before becoming a turkey farmer. He retired after 25 years as a turkey farmer. Lee was a member of Kinza Memorial Baptist Church in Stanfield.
