Lee Stancil

Lee Stancil, 70, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30 PM on Sunday, December 13, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. A memorial service will follow at 7 PM in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Efird officiating. A private burial will be held at Rocky River Presbyterian Church in Concord at a later date.
Mr. Stancil was born September 1, 1939, in Cabarrus County, to the late Grover Stancil and the late Annie Lee Hudson Stancil. He was a sales representative for Electrical Electronics and a member of Covenant Church of Harrisburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Stancil, and sister, Janie Moose.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Stancil; son Chris Stancil and his son, Christopher; son David Stancil, his wife Crystal, and their daughters, Kamerynn, Blayke and Brayden; daughter, Jane Stancil Henderson and her daughters, Alex and Caitlyn; brother, Charles R. Stancil, Sr.; and mother-in-law, Mary P. McCachern.
