Lelia Louise Huneycutt Taylor, age 79 of 2407 Vickers Lane, Albemarle, NC passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at her home. She was born October 28, 1930 in Stanly County to the late Spencer and Eva Barbee Huneycutt. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Dolan Edward Taylor of Albemarle; son Reggie Taylor and wife Melanie of Albemarle; grandchildren, Steven and Daniel Taylor; 2 step grandsons, Nathan and Jason Sutton; sisters, Dema Appel of Illinois and Ruth Huneycutt of Catawba, NC. Visitation will be Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. Funeral service will be Monday, October 18, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle with the Rev. Ron Honeycutt officiating. Entombment will follow at Stanly Gardens Mausoleum. The family will meet at her home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First St. Albemarle, NC 28001
