Lemuel Harvel

Lemuel Kenneth Harvell, 64, of Drake Road, Midland, NC, passed away January 11, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center – Northeast, Concord, NC. Mr. Harvell was born March 17, 1945, in Stanly County to the former Raymell Harvell Christenbury. He worked in maintenance for Charlotte Pipe & Foundry. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 12, 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 2:00 in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Freedom Baptist Cemetery, Locust, NC. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Kay Furr Harvell; sons, Jerry Harvell and wife, Terry of Midland, and Kenneth Harvell of Stanfield; brothers Sam Hopkins, Jr. and Terry Christenbury both of Midland and Andy Christenbury of China Grove; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
