Lena Hartsell

Juanita Hartsell, 89 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at Avante Healthcare of Concord.

Juanita was born February 18, 1926 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to the late Bruce and Lela Russ. She was also preceded in death by husband,Glenn Hartsell.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, August 24, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at McGill Baptist Church, Concord, officiated by Dr. Rev. Steve Ayers. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

Survivors include daughter, Glenita Riley and husband Chris of Mooresville; sons, Russ Hartsell and wife Susan Barbee of Concord and Ronald Hartsell and wife Anita of Concord. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Juanita was an active member of McGill Baptist Church and formerly oversaw the operations at the Baptist Sharing House. She had retired from Cannon Mills Plant #5.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to McGill Baptist Church Building Fund 5300 Poplar Tent Road Concord NC 28027.
