Lena Honeycutt

Lena Mae Honeycutt, 92, of Mt. Pleasant, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at the Brian Center in Concord, NC. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Thursday, December 15, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service at Carolina Memorial Park on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Ronnie Simpson will officiate. Ms. Honeycutt was born on May 6, 1919, to the late Samuel Greer Lemmond and the late Katie Mae Hudson Lemmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Luther Honeycutt. She is survived by one son, Howard Honeycutt and wife Janice of Concord; two grandchildren, Robin H. Kratzer and husband, Neil of Mt. Pleasant and Charles Honeycutt and fiancé Rebecca Love of Concord and her beloved cat, Charlie. Special thanks to the caretakers of Brian Center of Concord.
