Leola Osborne

Leola Hahn Osborne, age 97 of Albemarle, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Stanly Manor of Albemarle. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Thursday, February 2 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakboro Cemetery. Mrs. Osborne was born in Stanly County on May 29, 1914, to the late Ranzo Hahn and the late Dallie Morgan Hahn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard William Osborne in 1986; a sister, Pearl Curlee; two brothers, Hoyle and Hubert Hahn. She is survived by a daughter, Avanelle Burris and her husband Wayne of Albemarle; two grandchildren, Mark Burris and Sarah Butts and her husband Tommy, all of Charlotte; 2 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mildred Tally of Stanfield, Aline Tarlton and her husband Wilson, Maxcell Whitley and her husband John D., all of Oakboro and Jewel Huneycutt of Mt.
