Leona Dobbs

Leona Dobbs (Granny), 75, of Locust, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at her home.

Leona was born March 28, 1946 in Hand County, South Dakota to the late Melvin Llewellyn and the late Betty Arlene Llewellyn.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Wayne Dobbs; daughter, Carla Kay Padgett; grandchild, Cassandra Wallace; and siblings, Patty Llewellyn and Donna Kucera.

"Granny" had many hobbies, including cookouts and family gatherings, gardening, crafts, bird watching, and board games. She knew many people all around the United States and will be sorely missed by all those who once had her in their life.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Friday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland officiated by Pastor Tim Jones.

Survivors include daughters, Leona Broome (Alan), Barbie Boelte (Jon), Patricia Barnett (David) , Sandy Kress (Joe) and Gena Baxter; grandchildren, Larry Marsters (Ashley) and their three children, Miranda Robinson (Brian) and their three children, Shana Tucker and her three children, Michael Robinson (Katie) and their five children, Alicia Miller and her two children, Athina Marsters (Danny) and their three children, Rodney Woodbury Jr. (Heather) and their one child, Johnny Wallace II and his one child, Monti Marsters II, Jeremy Wallace (Angie) and their one child, Joshua Boelte, Anthony Baxter (Deja), Dakota Boelte (Cheyanne), Teddy Barnett, and 5 step grandchildren; siblings, Bill Llewellyn, Dave Llewellyn, Nancy Meyers, Mary Hilton (Rick), Judy Girtman (Carlton), Melvin Llewellyn (Shelia), and Kay Sharp (Tom).
