Leora Hahn

Iva Leora Whitley Hahn, age 89 of 28067 Hwy 24/27, Albemarle, NC 28001, passed away on October 20, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle, on Friday from 6 to 8. At other times the family will be at the home of her son, Sherrill, 28039 Hwy 24/27, Albemarle. Funeral service will be at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, Albemarle, on Saturday at 4 PM. Rev. Judy Copeland will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Born in Stanly County on October 14, 1921, she is the daughter of the late Titus Jasper Whitley and the late Fannie Victoria Kelly Whitley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Retha Anderson Hahn in 2005. She was an active member of St.Martin Lutheran Church. She is survived by her son Sherrill Hahn and wife Diane of Albemarle NC; granddaughter, Stephanie Luther and husband Barry of Albemarle and great granddaughter, Victoria.
