Leota Honeycutt

Leota Lila Goodwin Honeycutt, 75, of Kannapolis, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Honeycutt was born March 5, 1938 in Maryville, TN to the late Roy Goodwin and Susie Cantrell Goodwin. She did volunteer work at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Sunday April 28, 2013 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. The funeral service will be Monday, 29th at Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 20063 Meadow Creek Church Road Locust, at 2:00 pm following a 30 minute state, officiated by Elder Marvin Honeycutt and Elder Charles Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Boyd Honeycutt of the home; sons, David Trull, and Stacy Trull; stepsons, Ronnie Honeycutt, and Tony Honeycutt; daughters, Kathy Dennis, Karen Giel, and Rhonda Frazier; nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord is serving the Honeycutt family.
