Leroy Aycoth

Leroy Aycoth, 91 years of age, of Polkton, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.

Leroy was born June 2, 1925 in Union County to the late Edward Sylvester Aycoth and the late Julia Emma Aycoth. He was also preceded in death by first wife, Lettie Aycoth and three brothers and four sisters.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Friday, June 10, 2016 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church. The funeral service will be on Friday at 1:00 pm at Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Polkton officiated by Rev. Bill Hill. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, Stanfield.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Rebecca Aline Aycoth of Polkton; and three sisters, Earleane Pate and Jo Green, both of Harrisburg, and Doris Brown of Rockwell.

Memorials may be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
