Lester Paige

Lester Paige, 88, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant House. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord and the funeral service, officiated by Elder Jimmy Gray, will follow in the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel. The burial will immediately follow at Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Millingport Rd., Locust.

Mr. Paige was born on October 28, 1926 to the late Edmund Riley Paige and the late Elmetta Almond Paige. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life, Jean Smith Paige. He is survived by a son and his wife, Jeff and Saundra Paige of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter and her husband, Reverend Mike and Kathy Burris of Locust; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
