Lester Teets
April 30, 1927 — October 16, 2015
Lester Earl Teets, 88 years of age, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 16, 2015.
Lester was born April 30, 1927 in Garrett County, Maryland. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Erna “Pauline” Teets; sister Edna; and brothers Walter, Harold and Arthur.
Lester was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He served a little over 20 years in the US and abroad. He is a member of First Assembly Church in Albemarle, NC. He loved his family and church family, they blessed him with their love and caring. Lester was loved dearly and will be missed by his family and friends. Lester was one in a million.
Survivors include his son, Rod Teets and wife, Kathi; and daughter Karen Kale and husband, Mike; sister Ruth Barkman; grandchildren Mandi and Gabe Smith, Lanny and Jesse Teets, Dawn Hale and Brandy Evans; great-grandchildren Kimberly, Dillon and Tony Dalton, Gabby Smith, Samantha and Seth Evans, Daniel and Brittany Hale; great- great-grandchildren Marley and Mason Capps. As well as many nieces and nephews.
