Lettie Furr

Lettie Mae Beatenbo Furr, 87 years of age, of Concord, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
Mrs. Furr was born January 27, 1929 in Royston, GA to the late Virgil Eugene Beatenbo and the late Bertie Mae Beatenbo Gable. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John J. Furr in 2013, as well as two sisters, Louise Clay and Sybil Kirk, and one brother Charlie E. Beatenbo.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda L. (Eddy) Cline; sons, Danny E. (Sonia) Lewis, and Rick G. (Brenda) Lewis, all of Concord, NC; brothers, Johnny Gable of Villa Rica, GA, and Bobby Gable of Milton, FL; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm, officiated by her nephew Charlie E. Beatenbo. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
