Lewis "LJ" Jackson Kee, Jr., 76, of Concord, went home to be the Lord on Saturday, April 17, 2021.

LJ was born August 30, 1944 in Cabarrus County to the late Lewis Kee, Sr. and Eva Fink Kee. He was also preceded in death by brother, Charles Kee.

LJ dearly loved his church, Wilmar Park Baptist of Concord. He retired from Barefoot & Company, Matthews. LJ enjoyed camping with his family at the beach and in the mountains.

A graveside service in celebration of LJ's life will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 22, 2021 at West Concord Cemetery, officiated by Rev. David Wilson.

Survivors include beloved wife of 52 years, Brenda Kee of Concord; daughter, Angie (Ray) Grindstaff of China Grove; brothers, Walter (Vickie) Kee of Holden Beach, and Benjamin (Ruby) Kee of Salisbury; and many nieces and nephews.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the family.
