Libby Huneycutt

Elizabeth "Libby" Huneycutt, age 82 of Burleson St, Albemarle, NC 28001, passed away on October 09, 2010 at her home. The family will receive friends Monday, October 11 from 3 pm until 4 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle with funeral services following at 4 pm, the Rev. Patrick Hamrick will officate. Burial will follow at Fairview cemetery. Born in Stanly County on March 01, 1928 to the late Giff Carpenter and Jennie Lee Allen Carpenter, she graduated from Oakboro High School and was a legal secretary for David Grigg Attorney at Law. Elizabeth "Libby" Huneycutt is survived by her husband of 67 years, Carlon Ben “C.B.” Huneycutt, and one brother Tom A. Carpenter and wife Milladeen of Hartsville, SC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church, 1100 W. Main St. Albemarle, NC 28001
