Lillian Dennis

Lillian Mae Cook Dennis, age 99, of Albemarle, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 12:30 until 1:30 pm. The graveside service, officiated by Rev. Ron Honeycutt, will be at Stanly Gardens of Memory on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 2 pm. Mrs. Dennis was born on December 14, 1913, to the late William Cook and the late Fodie Caudle Cook. She is also preceded in death by her husband James Theodore Dennis, Sr. in 1999. She is also preceded in death by her son, James "Junior" Dennis in 2012, and one brother and one sister. She is survived by a daughter, Jeanenne Harkey and husband, Bobby, of Albemarle; two grandchildren, Ann Kingrey and husband, Bill, of Richmond, Texas and Stephen Dennis, of Albemarle; five greatgrandchildren, Beau Kingrey, Will Kingrey, Ashley Dennis, Chad Dennis, and Emily Dennis. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 North First St., Albemarle, NC 28001 Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Dennis family.
