Lillian Dyar

Mrs Lillian Wallace Dyar age 85 of 1404 Heritage Court, Albemarle passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010. She was born May 1, 1925 in Cobb Co., Ga. to the late William Wallace and Nora Landrun Wallace. She was a member of the St. Luke United Methodist Church, Mableton, Ga. She retired from Sterling Drug, formally of Atlanta, Ga. She is survived by her husband, Guy W. Dyar and daughter, Edith D. Johnson of Albemarle; sister, Alice Stephens of Austell, Ga; daughter-in-law, Kathy Dyar of Darien, Ga; grandchildren, Amanda Womack of Lithia Springs, Ga; great grandchildren, Jeff Whitmire of Austell, Ga. and Derris Womack of Lithia Springs, Ga. and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, Rev. Ron Honeycutt officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First St. Albemarle, NC. 28001.
