Lillian Thomas

Lillian Virginia Hill Thomas, 94 years of age, of Polkton, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at her home in Polkton.

She was born October 29, 1919 in Forsyth County to the late William Grayson Hill and the late Lula Arrington Hill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Thomas in 2001; and son, Richard Thomas in 2013.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM, Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Polkton. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Billy Hill and Tony Thomas will follow at 11:30 AM. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She is survived by son, Doug Thomas and wife, Irene of Oakboro, David C. Thomas and wife Elaine of Polkton, and Steven Thomas of Albemarle; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Nellie Thomas of Polkton.
