Lillie Baucom

Lillie Pauline Tallent Baucom, 88, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at home. Mrs. Baucom was born August 12, 1924 in Morganton, NC to the late Martin Luther Tallent and the late Elsie Lee Causby Tallent. She was also preceded by her husband, Glenn Marshall Baucom; brothers Henry, Luther, Harold and Paul Tallent. The funeral service will be at 4:00 pm, Friday, May 24, 2013 at Lakeview Baptist Church, 4602 Concord Highway, Monroe, NC 28110. Mrs. Baucom will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be at Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include her brothers, Johnny of Chiefland, FL; James of Easley, SC, Fred, Robert, Jerry Tallent of Concord, NC; daughters, Glenda Thomas and husband, Phil of Monroe, NC; Marlene Simpson and husband Jim, of Monroe, NC; grandchildren, Angie Noviello and husband Tony, Brad Thomas and wife Amanda, Darin Simpson and Chase Simpson; great-grandchildren, Nikki, Nicolas and Brayden Noviello and Lauren Thomas.
