Lillie Lisk

Lillie Jane Ford Lisk, 94 years of age of Midland, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012 at Five Oaks Manor in Concord. Mrs. Lisk was born January 27, 1918 in Mecklenburg County to the late John Patterson Ford and Molly Jane Hargett Ford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J. R. Lisk, in 1998; two sisters, Dora Bell Huneycutt and Lennie Lefler; and five brothers, Jennings, Johnson, Morrison, Clayton and Harry Ford. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, August 19, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, at Dulin’s Grove Advent Christian Church, 11200 Arlington Church Road, Charlotte. Rev. Brent Carpenter and Rev. Matt Broadway will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Charlotte. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Lisk and Cathy Patterson and her husband, Herman, and her son, Edward Lisk, all of Midland; her grandchildren, Dana Bergeron and her husband, Andre’, Tommy Patterson, and Chad Blevens; her great-grandchildren, Brennan Lisk, Maddalyn Bergeron, Brett, Jake, and Cole Blevins; and her brother, Wilson Pinyan of Bryson City. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Lisk family.
