Linda Bouchard

Linda Kay Bouchard, 66, of Midland, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center Northeast surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born June 1, 1951, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Kanawha and Ellia Thornsberry. She was the youngest of four siblings. On December 19, 1994, she married the late James Bouchard, who passed away December 2, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Venus Thornsberry of Ohio and her daughter, Tracy Lenore Burris of Florida.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Hamilton (David Cox) of Midland, NC; her two siblings, Sister Karen Sue Gullett (John) of Springfield, Ohio; Johnny Thornsberry (Mary) of Waverly, Ohio; her five grandchildren, Raymond Bubba Hamilton (Allie) Concord, NC; William Brandon Hamilton (Breanna) Sumter, SC; Cameron Braxton Hamilton of Midland, NC; Cody Troutman (Tori) of Concord, NC; Breanne Bouchard of Amelia, Ohio; Alexis Bouchard of Amelia, Ohio; and her five great-grandchildren, Brantly and Evelyn Hamilton, Samuel Hamilton, Alexander Bertschy and Gabriella Hayes. Also by multiple nieces and nephews.

The service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland at 10 o’clock a.m. Visitation will last until 10:45 a.m. and the service will be held at 11 o’clock a.m. Following the service, the burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Harrisburg, NC. The family will receive family and friends at Midland Fire and Rescue Station 1, Hwy. 601 following the burial.
