Linda Brewer

Linda Darnette Holdaway Brewer, 65 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. Linda was born June 20, 1948 in Washington County, Virginia to the late William Bill Holdaway and the late Ruby Mae Woodward Holdaway Harris. She was also preceded in death by son, David Brewer, Jr. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The graveside service will be on Thursday at 2 pm at Norview Gardens. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home. She is survived by her husband, David Larry Brewer of the home; son, Jimmy Brewer of the home; daughters, Jennifer and Jessica Brewer, both of the home; grandchildren, Angel Brewer of Albemarle, Samantha Brewer of Kannapolis; great grandsons, Gaige and Draiden Slough, and Cayden Welch; great granddaughter, Danilynn Davis Brewer; brothers, James Holloway of Denton, Dennis Forrest of Mississippi; sister, Pat Montgomery of Tennessee; and numerous relatives in Davidson, Randolph, and Rowan County. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Brewer family.
