Linda Russell Coleman

Linda Russell Coleman 79, of Concord, NC, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving husband at their home.

Linda was born on October 2, 1944 in Morganton, North Carolina to the late George Mull and the late Jean Strickland, who preceded her in death.

Linda worked at Standard Trucking, Cabarrus County School Board for seven (7) years, where she retired. She worked with her husband, Jerry at Chambers Transportation, every Friday, where she did the billing.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Coleman of 30 plus years, son Jeremy Coleman and her two sisters, Judy Corley and Diana Yarborough (Tom).

Her hobbies included yards sales and going to casinos. She was very passionate about her faith and her church. She had the gift of mercy for the brethren. Her nickname given her by her husband was my “Angel”

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, at 2:00 pm, at the Maranatha Baptist Church located at 3028 Rocky River Road, Charlotte, NC.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in Linda’s name to her church, Maranatha Baptist Church.
