Linda Conner

Linda Sue McKinney Conner, 52 of 13723 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte, NC, passed away April 24, 2010, at her home. She was born in Mecklenburg County October 27, 1957. Linda was preceded in death by her father and mother, James Franklin McKinney and Mary Lucille Sharpe McKinney Morris; sister, Luann McKinney and grandson, Braxton Smith. She was a retoucher for Delmar Co, in Matthews. She was a member of Dulin’s Grove Advent Christian Church and a girl scout leader for many years. She was a devoted homemaker. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association and Dulin’s Grove Advent Christian Church. The family will meet at the home. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 7:00 PM 9:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home Midland. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Dulin’s Grove Advent Christian Church, with the ministers Rev. Matthew Broadway and Rev. Eddie Griffis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her spouse, Eddie Allen Conner of the home; daughters, Kristen Conner of Charlotte, Megan Conner Smith and husband Donnie of Charlotte; brother, Doug McKinney of Midland; sisters, Cathy Beckmann of Georgia, Lisa Gilbert of Charlotte; grandchildren, Brayden and Brodie Smith.
