Linda Eggers

Linda Morgan Eggers, 74, of Concord, passed away on July 12, 2021 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC.

She was born on July 2, 1947 to Jennings and Elsie (Collette) Morgan in Concord, NC.  Linda worked as a License Examiner at the NC DMV for many years in which she thoroughly enjoyed. She was a member of McGill Baptist Church. Linda was known for caring for her entire family and spending quality time with her grandkids.  She enjoyed time in her garden and was no stranger to the outdoors. Linda will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her loving sons, Darrell Eggers (Stacey) of Concord, NC, Sonny Eggers (MaryEllen) of Concord, NC; two granddaughters, Caroline Eggers, Claire Eggers; grandson, Daughton Eggers; four sisters, Brenda Thompson, Charlotte Baucom, Carolyn Layburn, Judy Mullis; brother, Jack Carter.

She was preceded in death by mother, Elsie Morgan, father, Jennings Morgan, and loving husband of 40 years, Carroll Daughton Eggers.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 11:00 am - 12:45 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, NC. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, with Senior Pastor Steve Ayers, officiating. Burial will take place in the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis.
