Linda Harvey

Linda Merle Lowe Harvey, age 65, of New London, NC, formerly of Bluefield, WV, passed away on January 10, 2012. The family will receive friends at Freedom Holiness Church, 20244 US 52 Hwy S, Albemarle, NC 28001 on Saturday, January 14, 2012, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM and after the service. At other times, the family will meet at her home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, officiated by Rev. Bryan Burris, with a 1 hour state. Burial will be on Monday, January 16, at 10:00 AM, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bluewell, WV, officiated by Rick Mathena. Mrs. Harvey was born on August 24, 1946, in McDowell County, WV to the late Joseph Silas Lowe and the late Pauline Mitchem Lowe. She was also preceded in death by her husband in 2002, Roger Dale Harvey. She is survived by sons, Roger “Sam” Harvey, Jr. of New London, NC, Robert Harvey and wife Jami of Bluefield, WV; daughter, Rhonda “Tootie” Sisk and husband Jimmy of Albemarle; grandsons, Bryan Harvey and Ethan Harvey; granddaughters, Amanda Harvey, Ashley Sisk, and Laken Harvey; great- granddaughter, Ryleigh West; brother, Lundy Lowe of VA; sisters, Sue Ewing of MD, and Doris Lowe of WV. Memorials may be made to Freedom Holiness Church, 20244 US 52 Hwy S, Albemarle, NC 28001 or Christian Acres Service Camp, 1351 Evangelism Road, Bluefield, WV 24701.
