Linda Lilly

Linda Thompson Lilly, 60, of Gold Hill, NC, passed away quietly at home surrounded by her husband and children in the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Mrs. Lilly was born October 4, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pa. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Thompson, and her mother, Anna Clark Thompson. Linda was a local business owner, a notary, an avid animal lover, and a gardener. A family memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 9, in Concord. Survivors include her husband, Ed Lilly, Sr., of the home; her daughter, Tammy Lilly McElwain and husband, Tim, of Gold Hill; her son, Edward Lilly, Jr., of Gold Hill; her brothers, Joe Thompson and wife, Christy, of Yardly, Pa. and Brian Thompson of Concord; her sister, Anna Brown and husband, Tom, of Levittown, Pa.; and grandchildren, Jake McElwain, Kyle Lilly, and Keagan Lilly.
