L. J. Almond passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016. L.J. was born on December 10, 1948 to the late Lloyd Almond, Sr. and Ellen Almond. He was also preceded in death by his son Jason Almond.
Survivors include his brother, Hal (Diane) Almond of Harrisburg; sister, Janice Almond of Monroe; nephew, Jamie (Melissa) Almond of Harrisburg; nieces, Kristen Ray of Wingate and Gina Ray of Mint Hill.
The family would like to thank Frankie Hill and family for their support given to our brother.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 18 at 6:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A memorial service will follow in Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel.
