Lois Morgan

Maxine Troutman Morgan, 91 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Morgan was born October 16, 1924 in Stanly County to the late Charlie Washington Troutman and the late Dona Lee Troutman.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers and sister-in-laws, Junior and Lucy Troutman, Marshall and Addie B. Troutman, sisters and brother-in-law, Pauline Troutman, Mary and Will Talbert; and her lifelong friend Louise Culp.

Maxine enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was always playing with the children and had a zest for life. She will be remembered as a very loving mother and grandmother.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle or at other times at the home of her grandson Brandon Talbert. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Pastor Jeremy Holt. Burial will follow in the Fairview Memorial Park.

Survivors include: daughter, Teena Morgan Johnson and her husband David Hiatt; grandsons, Brandon Talbert and his better half Ashley Huneycutt, and Dalton Hiatt; granddaughter, Shannon Eudy and Dustin Walker; great-granddaughters, Mackenzi Eudy, and Kayden Eudy; as well as many wonderful friends.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County.
