Lois Sehorn

Lois Orell Tucker Sehorn, age 86 of Albemarle, passed away on July 30, 2012 at Stanly Manor of Albemarle. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Friday, August 3 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by her grandson, Rev. James Kevin Morton. Burial will be at the Stanly Gardens of Memory. Mrs. Sehorn was born in Stanly County on June 4, 1926, to the late James Arthur Tucker and the late Vina JoAnn Osborne Tucker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Melvin Sehorn on July 24, 2011; daughter, Tamara Annette Sehorn in 1979; and granddaughter, Hannah Renee Chambers in 2005. She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Morton and husband James of Candler; two sisters, Virginia Barbee and Gladys Treece, both of Oakboro; two grandchildren, Rev. Kevin Morton and wife Clarissa, Angela Chambers and husband Nate; four great-grandchildren, Sydni and Logan Morton and Ethan and Rachael Chambers; special caregivers, Laura Davis and her children, Nicholas, MacKenzie and Derrick Davis.
