Londean "Dean" Sue Ingold, 78 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at in Albemarle.
Mrs. Ingold was born December 28, 1938 in Stanly County, to the late Dan William Russell and Nora Chance Russell. She was also preceded in death by husband, Richard Alexander Ingold and brothers Joel, Deward, Don, Gerald Russell and sister Elizabeth Howard.
A member of Union Grove Baptist Church, Mrs. Ingold was a homemaker and devoted mother.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Union Grove Baptist Church, 20514 Highway 138, Albemarle, NC. Services will be officiated by Reverend Lee Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Dan Ingold, Tim (Julia) Ingold, and Chris (Angie) Ingold, all of Albemarle; three daughters, Sheila (Frankie) Morton of Candor, Lisa (Daniel) Privett of Biscoe, and Anna Hoover of Candor.
Surviving grandchildren are Sammy Ingold, Barry (Deanna) Wood, Danielle (Steven) Roten, Ashley Adair, Shalonda and Bruce Hileman, Crystal and April Hurley, Eric (Melissa) Ingold, Rachael (Sabino) Cabrera, Casey Adams, Andy Lineberry, Steven Everhart, Samantha (Aaron) Jett, Heather Locklear, Lee Anne Privett, Christopher and Dayna Miller, and Bradley Stroud.
Twenty-three surviving great-grandchildren include Marshall, Destiny, Logan, Eliza, Lizzie, Izabell, Jacob, Dakota, Naveh, McKenzie, Sophia, Kayla, Josie, Sailor, Hayden, Leia, Maya, Ethan, Anthony, Ryder, Mady, AJ, and Makenzie.
Surviving brother, Ned Russell of New London.
The family will be gathering at the home of son, Tim Ingold, 27243 Crystal Road, Albemarle.
